Bantwal : A boy died after lightning strike on November 14 night at Sanur Padavu of Kariyangala village.

Karthik (16), son of Ganesh Adidravida of Sanur padavu, is the deceased boy.

At around 9:00 pm, he went to bed after eating, and around 9:30 a.m. there was a heavy rain with thunder and the people who were sleeping experienced an electric shock. At this time, the family ran to the hall, but when Kartik did not wake up, he was immediately brought to the Kaikamba clinic. Later, when he was taken to Mangalore Wenlock Hospital for further treatment, the doctors declared him dead.

A case has been registered in Bantwala rural police station.
