Sullia : A 60 year old man from Jattipalla Boliyamajalu attempted suicide by shooting himself with a pistol on October 24, Monday. The injured person Keshav Prabhu has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.

Keshav Prabhu is the husband of Shanti Prabhu, the former vice president of Sullia Town Panchayat. He attempted suicide when he was all alone in the house this morning. The reason behind his suicide attempt is not known.

Sullia police are investigating the case.
