Mangaluru : A BSF soldier who had arrived hometown for a holiday has succumbed to heart attack in the city on January 1, Sunday.

The deceased is Harish Kumar (43) of Umikana near Kulshekhar. He has left behind his wife, six year old son and one and a half year old daughter.

He was serving the BSF for the past 21 years. On Saturday he had suffered a heart attack following which he was rushed to the hospital. However he succumbed on Sunday.
