Mangalore: Devargunda Sadananda Gowda, CM of Karnataka, is on a day-long visit to his native DK district and hometown in Sullia taluk on Monday, according to a programme.
The official press release informed that Gowda would be in Sullia to participate in a meeting organized by the local branch of BJP, where he will address the party cadres, on Monday.
He Comes by a helicopter from Bangalore by 10-30AM and proceed to the meeting venue in Sullia, and then attend two private functions in Puttur from where he was twice elected as MLA a decade ago. He will stay overnight in Puttur. He is unlikely to spend his Diwali in Mandekolu Village where his mother and brother live in Sullia taluk on Karnataka borders.
He leaves for Bangalore from Mangalore on Tuesday, October25 which is Diwali Festival commencement day.
