Mangalore : Customs officials have arrested a person from Kerala and seized gold biscuits hidden in his mobile phones on Jan 18, Friday.
The accused is identified as Mohammad Ali Moideen Kunhi hailing from Talangere in Kasargod district.
Reportedly, Kunhi had arrived by an Air India Express Flight from Dubai at 6.30 am possessing gold worth Rs 10.85 lakh weighing 349.970 gms.
The value of the gold has been estimated at Rs 10.85 lakh in the Indian market.
