District Physical Education Teachers’ Association urges Govt to fulfill demands

Physical-EducationMangalore:  The District Physical Education Teachers’ Association held a silent protest requesting the state government to fulfill their demands in front of the DC’s office on June 15, Friday.

Addressing the protestors, the association has demanded the government to appoint physical directors in pre-university colleges. He also asked to conduct M.P.Ed training for physical education teachers after pursuing their B.P.Ed degrees, and implement Prof. L. R. Vaidyanathan Physical Expert Committee’s recommendations.

Physical-EducationDistrict Physical Education Teachers’ Association president P. V. Joseph, general secretary K. H. Nayak and vice president Akhil Shetty were present.

They also submitted a memorandum to MLC Captain Ganesh Karnik after the protest
