Moodubidri: The 8th Kannada literacy giant, but of folk culture, and (8th)winner of Jnana Pith award of Rs.7 lakhs, Dr.Chndrashekar Kambara will be feted in Alva’s Nudisiri gathering once again when it organized here on November 11 to 13.
The Nudisiri is in its 8th year and it is a mere coincidence that Jnan Pith award and Nudisiri go together. The event will be chaired by research scholar of North Karnataka, Dr.M.M.Kalaburgi.
Dr.Kambara will address the valedictory function of Nudisiri. His entire literacy output will be the theme of a session for discussion by scholars who will give special lectures on various aspects.
It may be recalled that in 2006, Dr.Kambara had eminently presided over Nudisiri’s 3rd year conference and discussed on the theme of “Mind and modern issues”.
