Udupi : A young businessman committed suicide by hanging at his house on Wednesday February 2.

The deceased is identified as Karthik Pai (37), a resident of Ambalpady, near Majjigepade.

He was the owner of a dry fruit shop. It is learnt that he was depressed over business related loss.

On Wednesday morning, he ended his life by hanging himself at his residence.

A complaint has been registered at the town police station.
