Mangaluru : Eight python hatchlings, born through artificial incubation, were released into the wild on Wednesday.
Shamith Suvarna found these eggs in a construction site near Car Street on May 12, and he informed snake rescuer Ajay Kulal, who brought it to my notice. Bantwal range forest officer Rajesh Baligar, and the team helped in releasing the snakes into the wild.
Out of 10 eggs that they got, two were damaged, and the eight fertile eggs successfully hatched on June 15.
Snake Kiran had arranged an artificial incubation to the eggs.
