Mangaluru : The five schools and a college in city closed due to a spike in coronavirus cases. The education department has ordered temporary suspension of classes.

Government High school, Bengre Kasaba; Canara CBSC Dongrakere; Ansar English Medium High School, Bajpe; Vyasa Maharshi English Medium High School, Mulki; Government High School, Munchoor and Vivekananda PU College Yedapadavu temporarily suspended classes for a week .

The education department has stated that classes in the following schools will be suspended for a week due to in crease in Corona cases Deputy Commissioner Dr K V Rajendra has said.
