Mangaluru :  Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath has been set up a war room at his office in the wake of the ongoing strike of the cleanliness workers and in order to assist the public in clearing the garbage piled up at various parts of the city.

The MLA has said measures would be taken to clear the garbage if affected people contact the war room. He said efforts are being made to recruit temporary staff to clear the garbage and at present 75 to 80 drivers have been arranged. As more drivers are needed those interested can contact his office, he added.
