Mangaluru : Deputy commissioner warned of a heavy rainfall that has been forecast for the coastal districts during the next five days.

The district disaster management authority has issued a red alert on May 18 while an orange alert has been sounded out on May 17 and 19 in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district.
