Mangalore : Heavy rains   accompanied by strong winds continue to lash the coastal districts and the rains continued even on Wednesday. There  are reports of damages due to tree fall at several places.

 Mangalore city, Moodbidri, Suratkal, Bajpe airport area too received heavy rains. Subrahamanya, Sullia, Puttur too are receiving good rainfall and rivers are overflowing.

Heavy rains are reported even in Bantwal and Netravathi water level has risen,Met department sources said rains will continue  during the next 24 hours.
