N subhaBangalore: The Karnataka High Court on appeal, has upheld the Life Sentence of punishment awarded to accused woman N. Shubha and her accomplices in the Girish murder case by a Fast Track Court. The murdered person was a software engineer working for Intel.
N. Shubha, the convict, argued in vain that she was innocent and did not conspire to kill Girish, her would-be husband. A bench of 2 Judges rejected her arguments. The Bench said that the convicted persons deserved the punishment for their conspiracy, Shubha’s Lover Arun Varma also will serve a life sentence in a gang of 4.
Shubha was engaged to (deceased) Girish as on 30-11-2003. But Shubha conspired with 3 others to kill him on 03-12-2003. She was trapped by city police through phone calls and SMS talk made by her.

If girish family was great, they would not have filed the case. The way they are persistently fighting shows they are more grudgeful and revengeful. Shuba is very very unfortunate that she is caught. She should be released as she has all thepotential to be transformed. Nobody should be punished on the basis of just sms.

CRIME RATES COMES DOWN IF 1% OF PEOPLE START MEDITATING.
The death penalty is a crime committed by the society against a single individual, who is helpless.I cannot call it a penalty, it is a crime. And you can understand why it is committed: it is a revenge. Society is taking revenge because the man did not follow the rules of the society; the society is ready to kill him. But nobody bothers that when somebody murders, it shows that man is psychologically sick. Rather than sending him to imprisonment or to be executed, he should be sent into a nursing home where he can be taken care of — physically, psychologically, spiritually. He is sick. He needs all the compassion of the society; there is no question of penalty, punishment.-OSHO

Infact Shubha shud have been hanged … she is a shame to society. She had absolutely no regret on her face and was walking as if she had achieved something. She had such a simple solution to tell her parents..infact her parents also should be punished along with her …. Kudos to our Judiciary for upholding the lower court judgement. This gives confidence to society and sends strong message to wrong doers.
