Mangaluru: “Mahatma Gandhi’s way of protesting is endless. His non-violence way of protesting is inspirational of all of us,” said Seraje K P Mohan Master, freedom fighter.
After receiving the felicitation at Gandhi Jayanti programme at Mangaluru Town Hall organized by Bharat Sevadal, District Information and Public Relation and Public Education Department, on Sunday, he said that Mahatma Gandhi is still alive with his principles and thoughts in us.
“His death was a huge loss to the world. Many Countries paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. This shows how incredible personality he was,” he said.
He further said that concept of ‘Congress free India is a foolish idea. Gandhi ideologies are relevant forever and none can separate his thoughts.
Speaking on the occasion Police Commissioner Chandra Sekhar said that when we include Gandhi principles in our life, then only his and other martyrs’ souls will be happy.
Floral tribute was paid to Mahatma Gandhi statue.
