Udupi : The renovated guest house of Admar Math inaugural ceremony held in presence of Mysuru royal family Rajamata Pramodha Devi and her son King Yaduveera Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar at Sri Kalingamardana Mantapa in Sri Admar Math premises, Udupi on Tuesday May 30.
The royal family was welcomed in a traditional and colourful procession flanked by musical bands. The inaugural function was followed by a formal programme.
Speaking after inaugurating the renovated guest house of Admaru Mutt near Sri Krishna mutt, the erstwhile queen said that her father-in-law Sri Jayachamarajendraja Wodeyar had inaugurated the earlier version of the guest house. The representation of the royal family continues to be with Sri Krishna Mutt.
King Yaduveera Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar said that he is blessed to continue the legacy of his ancestors. He has worn the turban worn by his grandfather Jayachamarajendra Wodeyar at the inauguration of the old guest house on February 21, 1964.
He has completed two years of his kingship and stepped into the third year on Tuesday. He added that he would be happily carrying forward the spiritual ties with Sri Krishna Mutt like his ancestors. His father Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wodeyar had visited Udupi temple in 2011 and the renovated guest house.
On the occasion, Pejawar Swamiji blessed and handed ‘Anugraha Manthrakshathe’. Maharaja Yaduveer was felicitated by Sri Vishwapriya Swamiji and Sri Vishweshatheertha Swamiji.
The junior seer of Admar math Ishapriya Swamiji also graced the occasion.
