Mangaluru: “Even if Narendra Modi visits Karnataka a hundred times or Amith Shah comes up with any new technique, Congress will once again come to power in the upcoming legislative assembly elections “said Chief Minister Siddaramiah displaying his confidence.
He was speaking at Janashirvada Yatra organized under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi at Mangaluru North constituency represented by MLA B.A. Moiuddin Bawa.
In the 2018 legislative assembly elections Congress will come to power and In the 2019 union elections Congress will come to power and Rahul Gandhi will become the Prime Minister, he added.
Providing security to the people and secular administration is the aim of Congress government. We are not cheaters like BJP. We are not the ones who give the false promise of “Sab ka Saath, Sab ka Vikaas.” We have worked synonymous to that slogan. We should teach a lesson those who in the guise of Hindutva, spread fire in the society in the name of religion and caste, he said.
Moiuddin Bava is an active people friendly MLA. More funding has been given for the renovation of Surathkal market than any other constituency in the state. Additional grants have been provided for the development of road, drinking water, drainage, house construction and other projects for Surathkal constituency, he added.
Rahul Gandhi started his speech in Tulu by saying “Nikleg Yenna Namaskara.” Most part of his speech was dedicated to critisize Narendra Modi. We have walked as socialist like the words of the state’s excellent guides Shee Narayanaguru and Basavanna. The state government has given special importance for the development of farmers, fishermen and others. In the future, if Congress comes to power at the centre, a separate ministry will be instituted to take care of the problems faced by fishermen, he promised.
Money is being provided to the rich in India, but not the farmers. Prime minister claims to fight corruption. But, NDA government has fostered Rafale, Gujarat, petroleum, Amith Sha’s son, Nirav Modi, Vijay Mallya and many others. Nirav Modi has looted the people’s money and escaped. Didn’t the ‘Chowkidar’ observe this or did he himself open the door, asked Rahul.
Karnataka is the work place of Narayanahuru who proclaimed “we are all one.” Basavanna and Narayanaguru are a source of light not just for Karnataka, but the whole world. Walk the talk is a pointer for everyone. CM Siddaramiah has followed this verse with utmost honesty. But, Modi has failed his words, he criticized.
