Four arrested in Bantwal BJP workers swords attack case

Bantwal : The police arrested four persons in connection with swords attack on BJP workers at Baddakatte on June 11, was arrested on Tuesady.

The arrested accused are Deepak (27) from Panjikallu Kajebail, Pavan (26) from B C Road Agrabail, as well as Shailesh (26) and Ranjith (25) from B C Road.

The accused produced in the court here on Wednesday, they were remanded to judicial custody.

Main accused in the case, Surendra Bantwal, and his accomplices, Tilak, Manohar, Pradeep, and Sathish, are absconding.

It is said, the arrested men had extended financial assistance to the accused and also provided them facility to hide after the crime.
