Bengaluru : The CCB Anti-Narcotics Wing of Bengaluru Police on Friday arrested a Kolkata man for his role in importing drugs from Canada and supplying the same in the country.
The police seized drugs valuing Rs one crore, a Skoda car, a KTM Duke bike, and Rs. one lakh in cash from the arrested Atif Salim
According to police, Atif established contact with the Canada-based drug dealers through the dark web and used to obtain banned substances from them for delivering in India.
The drugs would be concealed within milk powder tins and then couriered to India, informed the police.
A case has been registered in Sadduguntepalya police station under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
