Bangalore: Kannada actor Darshan Toogudeepa, has apologised to his fans at large and film prodcers who have invested Rs.70 crores on him in 2011, for his recent bad manners against a wife and son, he should have cared most but had ill-treated, to spend a month in jail.
It was a marital quarrel and needed to be guarded in privacy, but he blew horns loudly in a drunken act.
The Karnataka High Court (single judge) on Friday gave him a conditional bail with bonds written over for Rs.50000, when two bail applications in lower courts had been rejected earlier.
Darshan went to a temple with his wife and baby son, soon after release from the Central Jail and also met fans to apologise. His producers said that under-production films with him were not harmed in the episode of 30 days.
His wife said they had committed mistakes and would not repeat them.
