Bangalore: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee has served notice to former MP Tejaswini Ramesh who recently launched a scathing attack in public on Congress leader DK Shivakumar.
It may be recalled here that Tejaswini who was participating in a function at Kanakapura, while expressing her anguish over DK Shivakumar had demanded that Shivakumar who was indulging in anti-party activities be expelled from the party. The Congress which has taken serious cognizance of the same has now served a show cause notice to Tejaswini.
The Congress Disciplinary Committee, in its notice has also said that there was no question of tolerating such acts that too during election time and pointed out that Tejaswini has also made it a practice to attend BJP and JD(S) programmes and also to issue conflicting statements against Congress leaders at Congress functions.
Reacting to the notice, Tejaswini said she has not indulged in any anti-party activity and once again reiterated her demand to expel Shivakumar who, she said was involved in anti-party activities.
