Normal life continues to be disrupted in Kasargod

Kasargod HartalKasargod : Normal life has been disrupted in Kasargod district  following the bundh call given by the Left Front condemning the killing of T Manoj Kumar, a DYFI leader in clashes between CPM and IUML workers recently.

Meanwhile, violence continued even during the bundh forcing police to resort to lathi charge.

Northern Range IG Jose George is already camping in Kasargod and additional police forces have been deployed.

Even as a prohibtorary orders under Section 144 are in force, a group stoned a police vehicle at Nullippadi. Some even stoned the CPM office at Nullippady and Muslim League office at Kallangai.

Schools, schools and business establishment remained closed even on Friday and buses were also off the roads. There have been reports of stoning on houses, religious shrine and offices of political parties in Kanhangad, Kumble and other places.
