Mangalore youths to screen short films ‘Dosti’ and ‘1998 Love Story’ on Jan 21

Press Meet Mangalore : Two short films ‘Dosti’ and 1998 Love  Story  by Mathrushri Production will be screened at Don Bosco Hall on January 21, Monday from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Jan 8, Tuesday ‘1998 Love Story’ film director Mithun Suvarna Yeyyadi said that the tulu short film revolves around college love stories that took place in the year 1993.
He said that the film has completed its shooting in 8 days in Someshwar, Sulthan Battery, Yeyyadi, Kavoor, Derebail Konchady and other local places.

The film consists of two songs sung by Poornima and Suhail. The film has given opportunity for the local artists to display their talent in the film.

Speaking about the Kannada- Tulu short film ‘Dosti’, Deviprasad said that the film shows the life of friends and their relation after a girl’s entry in their life.

The film is shot in Padavinangady, Pachanady, Sulthan Bettery and Yeyyadi. The film comprises of one Tulu and one Kannada song.

The film ticket fee is Rs 50 / 100 each for the film.

Speaking about the inauguration, he said that MLA Krishna J Palemar will inaugurate the film screening, Mithun Rai, Vijaykumar Kodialbail, Moideen Bawa and Kripa Alva will be the chief guests.
