Karkala : Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas M Veerappa Moily has said that there was a pro-Congress wave in the state and that the Congress would emerge a major force in the state after the upcoming Assembly elections.
No charisma is left in the BJP in all the 224 assembly constituencies of the state, Moily said.
He was participating in a public meeting organized at the Bandimutt grounds here on behalf of the Karkala Block Congress. HE said the Congress government was inevitable for the welfare and development of the state. People still recall the progress work done by me in the taluk, he said and hoped the Congress will be brought to power.
