Bantwal : It has been learnt that there has been no raid on the Sri Rama Vidya Kendra at Kalladka by the forest officials. Earlier reports said the forest officials had raided the school following information that wild animals were reared.
ACF Padmanabha Gowda has clarified that there has been no raid and that the wild animals in the school park including two pythons and two deer have been shifted to Pilikula. Gowda also stated that the school had requested the forest officials to take the animals four months ago itself. A visit on Thursday was not fruitful as there was no vehicle arrangement, he said adding on Friday the animals were shifted.
Continuing, Gowda clarified that the school used to take care of injured animals and then hand it over to the forest department.
Earlier reports even in TV channels had created ripples as the school is run by senior RSS leader Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat.
