Puttur : After party leaders visit, representatives of International Human Rights Commission on May 19, Friday visited the hospital in Puttur where the youth who were allegedly subject to police atrocities are undergoing treatment. The youth were arrested in connection with the homage banner put up for BJP leaders following the BJP’s poll debacle.

Rohith Kumar Kateel, the Executive of the Commission and Sunil Kumar Shetty, Advisor met the victims Abhi alias Avinash and Guruprasad in the hospital and enquired their health.

They also assured all help in ensuring stern action against the police officials responsible for the atrocities and also extended financial aid on behalf of the Commission to the two victims.

Arun Kumar Puttila, Raghava Devadiga and others were present.
