Mangalore : Former union minister Janardhan Poojary, demanded a judicial probe into the arrest and hospitalization of former CM B. S. Yeddyurappa.
Speaking at the press meet held at District Congress Office on October 16, Sunday, he said that the act of former CM in arrest and hospitalisation is a drama, hence an inquiry has to be conducted and that all others involved in it have to be exposed.
Criticizing him, Poojary said that Yeddyurappa had escape from the police when they went to arrest him and later surrendered. Poojary said how Yeddyurappa suddenly had a backache when he spent the entire day escaping from the police.
He said that ministers have the habit of getting hospitalized just to avoid judicial procedure, he said that if this is allowed to continue, corrupt politicians can never be sent to jail.
He also said that Advani’s anti-corruption ratha yatra has no significance if Advani does not expel Yeddyurappa, who is allegedly involved in several scams.
Poojary said that Kumaraswamy was the root of all corruption in Karnataka, hence he expressed his regret over BSY’s arrest..
