Mangaluru : Two lorry drivers lost their lives after their lorries collided head-on near Gurupur-Kaikamba on December 5, Monday.

One lorry laden with soil was coming from Moodbidri while the other lorry was heading towards Gurupur when the tragedy struck. The mishap occurred on a slopy road and both lorries landed on a roadside ditch. The lorries were badly mangled due to the impact of the collision. Locals and police had to struggle to get out the bodies of the two drivers.

Traffic was affected on the road due to the mishap.
