Mangaluru : Senior KAS officer K Raju Mogaveera took charge as the new Registrar (Administration) of Mangalore University on Monday. Vice Chancellor Prof. P Subrahmanya Yadapadittaya warmly welcomed him by offering him a bouquet.
Prof P L Dharma, Registrar (Evaluation), B Narayana, Finance Officer, Special Officers M Jayashanker, Dr Nagappa Gowda and others were present.
After taking charge, the new Registrar held an informal meeting with the officials of the University and elicited information on the various departments. He also asked the officials to prepare a list of works to be done on priority basis in the post-Covid-19 scenario.
K Raju Mogaveera who hails from Kundapur pursued his graduation at Bhandarkar’s College and post graduation (MBA) from Mangalore University. He began his career in the advertisement division of Deccan Herald and later succeeded in KAS exams. He has earlier served as Tahsildar, Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) in Mangaluru and other places.
