Mangalore: Several students of the Rosa Mystica college of Gurupur protested outside the college premises on December 12, Wednesday against the principal, who they alleged had hurt the religious sentiments of a few Hindu students.
It has been alleged that the principal had ill-treated four PUC students who used to attend classes as Ayyappa vrithadharis.
Reports said that on December 12,the Principal had sent the four boys out of the class forcing the other students to protest.
Finally, the Bajpe police who arrived at the spot assured to hold talks with the college management on the issue. The management has however denied the allegations of the students.
The principal of the college had earlier faced the allegations of asking female students against wearing flowers and also forcing students to remove rachis.
