Seven of a gang arrested in murder attempt and assault case of Bajrang Dal activist

Rowdy sheetersMangaluru : The Kavoor police in the city have arrested seven persons in connection to murder attempt and assault case at Moodushedde.

The seven-member gang had tried to murder Vivekananda, a Bajrang Dal activist, at Moodushedde in the outskirts of the city on Thursday October 7.

It is said,  Imran, Rizwan, Rameez, Mustaf, Shah Rukh and Ashfaq had tried to retaliate by chasing Vivekananda for Vivekananda and others had attacked Ashfaq for putting up a poster of Congress leader Mithun Rai.

Vivekananda had saved his life by entering a shop. The video of the incident had gone viral on social media.

Two persons from a Hindu organization were arrested for assaulting Ashfaq. The arrested persons are Manoj Moodushedde and Veeresh Moodushedde.

The said assault was captured on the CCTV camera.
