Mangaluru: Dr. Sandhya Shenoy, Associate Professor from Department of Materials Science and Engineering of Institute of Engineering and Technology, Srinivas University, Mukka has been granted an amount of Rs. 46 lakhs by Science and Engineering Research Board, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India to carry out research on thermoelectric materials under SRS Scheme. The grant is provided to discover materials which can convert heat to electricity directly and efficiently and thus play a significant role in future energy management.
She has also been awarded certificate of appreciation as top 5 % highly cited author internationally by Royal Society of Chemistry, London for the previous two consecutive years.
These achievements have been highly appreciated by honourable Chancellor Dr. Shri CA A. Raghavendra Rao and Pro-chancellor Dr. A Srinivas Rao of Srinivas University.
