Mangalore: The Karnataka High Court ordered the telecom media to desist from telecasting Tamil actress Ranjit having sex with Swami Nityananda, following her legal petition. It is the second the TV channels are asked not to indulge in sexual harassment, by showing obscene clips already shown an year ago, against the Bidadi youngman.
A single-judge bench of Justice B.S.Patel has sent notices to the Home department, the DGP-IGP, and the ministry of Information and Broadcasting, besides News Broadcasting Standards Authority, and Press Council of India, or the media (news) houses.
Starlet Ranjitha appeared on Monday before KHC and complained that media people had ignored earlier Court order issued on 12-08-2010, banning them from carrying the obscenity in any form. She explained that it was digitally manipulated show, that TV channels projected. There was a need to censor such market contents before hand, Ranjita argued.
The men (TV –casters) had crossed all borders of human decency and repeated telecasting of old ugly clips, she spot out.
