Mangaluru :The Toll Gate Virodhi Horata Samithi has begun indefinite protest demanding the authorities to vacate the toll plaza at Surathkal, from Friday.

The protestors have said the protest will continue until the demand is fulfilled.

They are heard shouting slogans against the BJP government, MP Nalin Kujmar Kateel, MLAs Vedavyas Kamath, Bharath Shetty and other legislators.

Muneer Katipalla, convenor of the committee, former minister Abhayachandra Jain, Dinesh Hegde Ulepadi, Pratibha Kulai, former MLA Moidin Bava and others are participating in the protest.

A large number of police personnel have been deployed at the spot apart from KSRP personnel.
