Puttur : Two persons arrested in connection with the murder of BJP Yuva Morcha member Praveen Nettaru. The arrests were made in Kasargod.

Those arrested are Mohammad Shafiq (27) from Bellare and Zakir (29) from Savanoor.

It is reliably learnt that the duo conspired the murder.  

Police have detained as many as 21 people for questioning in connection with the case.

It may be recalled here that Praveen (31) was hacked to death by unidentified assailants while he was about to return home after closing his chicken shop at Peruvaje Cross in Bellare on the night of July 26.
