Mangaluru : A JDS candidate who had filed his nomination from Mangalore Constituency has withdrawn his nomination without informing party leaders. Moreover his mobile phone is also found switched off, informed party leaders.

SSF leader Altaf Kumpala who was associated with the SSF for several years and had of late managed to convince MLC B M Farooq and had secured a ticket. However he was not seen in any campaigning.

On April 21, he had withdrawn his nomination without informing anyone. Others came to know about it when the notice board outside the election office had informed about this.
