Udupi : The counting of votes for the Karnataka Vidhan Sabha General Election-2023 will take place on May 13 at Saint Cecilia’s Institute in Brahmagiri Udupi.

To ensure the smooth conduct of the counting of votes and to maintain law and order, Section 144 (1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been enforced in the district from 5 am to midnight on May 13.

The public is prohibited from gathering or moving in groups of 5 persons or more in public places.

Additionally, any kind of public procession, protest march, and public meeting ceremonies and victory procession is prohibited. Bursting of firecrackers during the victory celebration of the counting of election results is also prohibited.
