Sullai: A youth was stripped and then brutally assaulted by a group of assailants for the sole reason that he was taking to a young woman at bus stand.

The victim is Afid of Kallugundi. He has been admitted to Sullia hospital. Afid was speaking to a student at the Kukke Subrahmanya bus stand when the incident took place. A group which dragged him from the place, stripped him and then brutally assaulted him.

Subrahmanya police have registered a case based on the complaint of the victim.
