Suratkal: Imagine 418 students of NIIT-K in Suratkal, setting up a record to enter into Limca Book of World Records, by applying the Himalayas Drug Comanay’s latest facial cream products on each other’s faces at a time.
The record-making venture was achieved on a beach at Suratkal on Thursday and remember they are engineering technology students of a University in Karnataka known as NIIT-K and not Bal Bhawan Kids.
They graduated to a pure skin, under the programme promoted by a Druggist company. It was a treat to the local public to watch their performance at large.
The students were separated in groups of 50 and carried their mission in less than 180 minutes!
The average time taken to apply facial make-up was 4 minutes per person.
Not bad a thought at all when you known that hours are spent in Parlour to beautify a female face to face cameras during wedding.
Rs 10000 was paid to student who did the facial in a hurry in quickest time! Ankit Mahajan of Himalaya Herbals Consumer products gave a pep talk on what brands he had on the day.
The programme was part of annual day celebrations of students of NIIT-K spent on Kite flying Volley ball on beach and other saucy items.
