Yeddy and sons fear arrest ; move HC for bail

Yeddyurappa-bailBangalore :   After the CBI Special Court  rejected the  anticipatory bail plea of former CM BS Yeddyurappa,  his sons and  son-in law, all the four who are now facing arrest, have moved the High Court seeking anticipatory bail.

It may be recalled here that FIR had been filed against Yeddy, his sons BY Raghavendra, BY Vijayendra and son-in-law RN Sohan Kumar by the CBI on May 15. Raids on the residences of the accused had followed the very next day. It was on the same day that all of them had  moved the CBI special court for anticipatory bail. On Wednesday the applications were rejected on the grounds that the accused were politically influential and it were serious cases.

On Wednesday evening,Yeddyurappa’s advocate  moved the High Court seeking anticipatory bail for all the four accused and also pleaded for the cancellation of the CBI special court orders.

The Advocate for Yeddy has also appealed  the High Court to take up the case for hearing on Thursday.
