Kasaragod: A Group of Muslim miscreants pelted stones and blocked roads as a mark of Protest on Tuesday(December 6), as the anniversary of Babri Mosque(monument) demolition downed on the same day back in 1992.

The state observes a Bundh every year on this date.

Seven cases of damaging buses by pelting stones were reported all over the district till evening.

A KSRTC bus on way to Mangalore and Kerala SRTC bus were hit by stones at CPCRI and N.M. Moole in the district.

Several other buses had, the same fate. Even when police were deployed to Control the angry situation, mischief mongers went scot-free after stoning.

A few buses moved under active police protection around the city.
