Mangalore : The Karnataka State Electricity Employees Union (KSEEU) and the Electricity Employees Federation of India, staged a protest for the contract basis workers minimum demands.

The protest was staged, in front of the MESCOM Head Office in Mangalore on February 5, Wednesday.

Addressing on the occasion BM Bhat Honorary President of Karnataka State Electricity Employees’ Union said, who have worked for ten years in MESCOM they must be paid ten thousand salaries per month and to be permanent employee. He condemned that some of MESCOM official’s seen discrimination policy towards the below employees and giving unnecessarily harassment.

MESCOM employees from various branches participated in the protest.

Shivakumar President, Mahesh, Secretary of the Union and Vasanth Achari were present in protest rally.
