Mangalore : Dakshina Kannada TV Journalists Association, hold a protest meet on Wednesday, March 12 in front of Deputy Commissioner’s office, against state energy minister D. K. Shivakumar for filing false case on TV 9, news channel journalists Shreyas and Shwetha Prabhu.

Speaking on the occasion, TV Journalist Tharanath Kapikad said ” Attacks on journalists vulnerable, Sting operation is also a part of transforming Journalism. The High Court has given approval for a secret mission, he said.

Chief Minister to initiate action against the minister’s supporters and also to suspend him from the minister, he said.

A memorandum was submitted to the governor through the Deputy Commissioner.
