Mangalore : An over speeding bike met with a tragic accident killing an MRPL employee near BASF on August 7, Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Vineet (22), hailing from Chikmagalur.

Vineet was working in the maintenance department of MRPL and used to staying at Jokatte.

Reportedly, the accident occurred as Vineet, was riding the bike with an over speed, When suddenly he was confronted by a dog and Vineet lost control over the bike and was thrown on the road, critically injuring.

He was pronounced dead while being taken to hospital.

It is learnt that Vineet, had bought a new bike and not yet received registration number.
