Kasargod : The Court on Wednesday, September 3 pronounced double life term for seven persons guilty in the murder case of Dubai-based businessman at his house in Trikaripur on August 4, who had come to his native on account of Ramadan.
The court also asked them to pay the amount of Rs One lakh as fine.
The accused are identified as K P Amir (24) hailing from Malappuram Chengarakula, M K Jaseer (21), from Malappuram Alangod, C K Muhammed Naushad (36) a resident of Nileshwar Anechchal, a relative of Salam Haji, Asgar (30) from Thrissur, his brother, O M Shihab (32), Muhammed Rameez (27) a resident of Nileshwar Kotappura and C Nimith (42), a resident of Kannur Yedachovva.
One of the accused identified as M Muhasi (23) from Nileshwar Kallayi has been acquitted.
It is recalled, A B Abdul Salam (58) Dubai based businessman was killed at his house on August 4, Sunday by six persons who came with masks. The accused hit Abdul with a chair on the head and killed him. They have also said to loot the house completely along with mobile phones. The accused have also robbed CCTV and recording from the house and fled from the spot.
