Mangaluru : A fourth standard student of the Ganapathy Primary School died in a tragic road mishap at KS Rao Road on January 28, Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Anand Raj son of Rajamani and Sumithra recident of Kateel. He was the fourth among the couple’s five children.

It is said, Anand who with his brother Rajkumar, of class VII student and another friend crossing the road , the city bus of Route No 13B named “Golden” ran over Anand killing him on the spot.

The bus was flying towards Kunjathbail from State Bank, The bus driver escaped from the spot soon after the accident.

Traffic West Police registered a case.
