Udupi: A young woman lost her life after a garbage carrying tractor hit her two wheeler scooter, on Saturday morning at Udupi.

Mangala Rao (27) is the deceased person. She was a resident of Katapady. She was returning from Udupi court and moving towards Kalpana talkies in the morning at 10. Same time a garbage transporting tractor hit her vehicle resulting on death of Mangala.

She was a employee of HDB, a subordinate of HDFC.

Tractor driver has escaped from the spot after the incident. Udupi traffic police have registered a case.
