Mangaluru: “Responsibility of the attack on RSS activist should be taken by police commissioner. He should take measures for the speedy investigation of the case and arrest of the culprits,” said Food and Civil Supplies Minister U T Khader.

Speaking to press personnel on Friday, he said that intelligence failure is the main reason behind the repetitive attacks. Senior intelligence officers should be appointed to the squad by the commissioner.

“I will speak to home minister if needed and all the support will be given to the police department to avoid the untoward incidents happening in Ullal. Cases of attackes are reporting from the nearby areas of Ullal also. It is needed to be considered seriously,” he said.

Further speaking about providing free hearing aids to the BPL card holders he said that Help India Foundation and Naseema Institute of Speech and Hearing will be providing 50 free hearing aids to the BPL card holding parents children.

“Moreover, treatment of worth Rs 6.5 lakh will be provided with the maximum charge of Rs 1.5 lakh for the needy people with the help of donors. To avail this facility parents must have BPL card with children name in it along with Aadhar number. Age limit of the children is 1-5 years and the problems must be confirmed using CT or MRI scans,” he added.

Further he refused to comment on Tanvir Sait’s issue, who caught watching porno during the celebration of Tippu Jayanthi.
