Udupi : LIC Development Officer at the Main of Udupi Branch ended his life by jumping into a river at Manipura in Katapady on July 2, Sunday.

The deceased identified is Prakash Rai (54) resident of Vadiraja Road near Sri Krishna Math. Rai has left behind a death note in his car.

The death note states that he had chosen to end his life unable to bear the severe headache.

He also stated that he himself was responsible for his death.

The deceased Prakash has left behind his wife and daughter.

The police and rescue team are searching for Prakash but they were unable to trace the body.
