Mangaluru : A person arrested by Panambur police in connection to Thokur robbery case  in Mangaluru on Tuesday, July 13.

The accused identified as Dawood Hakeem (30).

The police officials recovered Rs 11.11 lakh including gold jewellery weighing 248.6 gm worth Rs 11.06 lakh.

It is said that the guilty had formed a good rapport with the members of the house. When the house members was away for two days, the accused gained entry into the house and stole the cash and jewellery.

The accused resorted to robbery as he was facing financial problems and was under debt.
